J-Fall 2022: Daniël Spee – So many results… Give them to me!

Usually when using search you request a subset of the results in the form of pagination. This is because users are mostly not interested in seeing all of the results, only the ones most relevant to them. But there are some use cases where your search service is used by other services or tools and the result sets they want could be in the millions. For example analysis tools or some form of export. This talk is about the experience of adding support for such a use case and the obstacles you might encounter. The stack used is Java with Spring Boot and Elasticsearch.
