J-Fall 2022: Lennart ten Wolde – Spring Boot 3 / Spring 6: What’s new?
Spring Boot 2 is finished, and Spring Boot 3 has been announced. What is new in this release of the most widely used application framework in the java ecosystem? In this presentation we are going to explore the new features of Spring Boot 3, and Spring Framework 6 on which it is based. We will explore the first full release of Spring Native, Spring Observability and the new webclient that is going to replace RestTemplate which are all included in the brand new version. The presentation will also include a live coding demo, in which you will see how the new features can be implemented. When this talk is over you’ll know what to expect from the new Spring Boot features and will know where to start and how to use them.
