In this session, we will walk through all new features, including all language and API enhancements, but we’ll also look at stuff “under the hood” that will make your JVM experience all the more enjoyable! Furthermore, we’ll answer the big question: should your upgrade? After this session, you’ll have a good understanding of the most important new JDK features so you can apply them to your projects.
Bio Michel:
Michel Schudel has been a passionate Java developer since 1998, building various Java solutions for banks, insurance companies and telecom providers. Since then he has seen the good, the bad and the ugly in Java land. He loves agile development and coding with frameworks like SpringBoot to get up-and-running as fast as possible. Futhermore, he likes to coach junior developers in Core Java. Michel is currently working as a developer on a Rabobank project.
